Casa Hogar H.O.L.I.
A Place to Call Home

What is a Casa Hogar?

In Spanish, it means "house of home,”  and in Honduras, it's the name given to a private children's home that takes in orphans who have nowhere else to go. Children who were abandoned. Children who lost their parents. Children who deserve so much more than the streets gave them.

The name isn't accidental. A Casa Hogar isn't a system. It's a family. And at Hands of Love International, we believe every child deserves one.

Our first Casa Hogar, dedicated to Sun Valley Masonry, is called the Sun Valley House as a tribute to their exceptional fundraising support.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

James 1:27 NIV

The Children Need This Home

Honduras is a country of incredible resilience, rich culture, and deeply rooted faith. It is also a country where the weight of poverty falls hardest on the youngest and most vulnerable.

Life at
The Sun Valley House

Our Sun Valley House will provide nurturing care for orphaned children; babies abandoned at nearby hospitals, and children found living on dangerous, drug-affected streets of Honduras. Working alongside the Honduran government's protective system, which identifies these children and places them in our care, we are able to offer every child what they deserve: a safe and loving home.

The Sun Valley House is a place where orphans will experience the true meaning of love and family. A place to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ, receive an education, and develop a trade. By the time our children age out, they will be equipped to contribute to their communities and their country, breaking the cycle of poverty.

Miles Away, But Not Out of Reach.

These children may be thousands of miles away, but the love you send travels to every single one of them.

ADOPTION OPPORTUNITIES:

Our orphaned children will be available for adoption through our trusted, U.S.-based adoption agency. The adoption process typically takes approximately 18 months, and financial assistance through adoption grants may be available to qualifying families. Pastora Mindy Rodriguez, in Honduras, is the President of Casa Hogar Manos de Amor Internacional and also a lawyer. She will be handling all of the contact with S.E.N.A.F. (the Honduran government agency for adoption).

If you feel called to learn more about providing a loving, permanent home for a Honduran child, we would be honored to connect with you.
